I am super excited to be in the 2020 Men of Curling Calendar! As a former recipient of the “For the Love of Curling” Scholarship, I am excited to have the opportunity to give back by raising funds for the Curling Canada Foundation. Not only did this foundation help me, they also supported countless other young Curlers across Canada to achieve their dreams. I owe the Curling Canada Foundation a huge part in my past success and I am forever grateful for the opportunities I have been given. I will also be raising funds for Childhood Cancer Family Support who support families who struggle with the financial burden of taking care of their child with cancer or a blood disorder. My Dad has dedicated most of his career to finding a better cure for Acute Myeloid Leukemia and I have always wanted to follow in his footsteps by aiding those in need. Also big thanks to Kim Wilson Photography for the awesome shoot! Make sure you pre-order a calendar while quantities last!

Matthew Hall has returned to Ontario where he will be skipping his own men's team next season - Team Hall.

Played in our first event of the season - the King Cash Spiel at Maple Ridge Golden Ears Curling Centre, got our first #EightEnder! Won our first World Curling Tour event of the season (2nd ever for Tyler, Sterling and Matt) and had a fantastic time thanks to all of the great volunteers, ice makers and a special thank-you to Shannon Wilson Joanisse and Dean Joanisse for all of the time and effort they put into the event. Thank-you as well to Curl BC for the support this weekend - we appreciate it. It has been a whirlwind couple of days and it is just sinking in that we will once again be wearing the Maple Leaf on our backs at the 2018 World Junior Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland.  We feel so honored to have this privilege.

We have invited Jacques Gauthier, from Team Manitoba to join us as our fifth.  He was the all-star for the thirds at this years New Holland Canadian Juniors and brings a positive attitude and great curling skill to our team!

The field at this years Boston Pizza Curl BC Junior Curling Championship was incredibly even and strong. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in the success of this event. Curl BC - thank-you for giving us the opportunity to compete at these championship events and for the support you provide to the High Performance Teams. To the ice-makers - thank you for the great consistent ice - we loved it, to the officials - thank you for all that you do and the time that you give to ALL of the events in BC, to the volunteers at the Langley Curling Center - you are the best!!
