We are very excited to announce that Precision Nanosytems, Inc., a local BC biotechnology company, is returning as a Team Tardi Gold Sponsor for the 2017/2018 curling season.
They specialize in Adaptable Nanoparticle Research and Development. Precision NanoSystems technology has enabled the development of a broad range of nanoparticle formulations, varying in size (20nm to 200nm), payload (e.g. nucleic acis, hydrophobic drugs) and excipient characteristics (e.g. charge and pH tuning). With the ability to iterate and tune particle characteristics faster than before, researchers are finding new designs and opening up possibilities for targets and drugs that previously would have been difficult or taken too long to develop. In addition, Precision NanoSystems' proprietary NanoAssemblr™ Platform enables the rapid and controlled manufacture of nanomedicines (liposomes, lipid nanoparticles, polymeric nanoparticles). It enables controlled, bottom-up, molecular self-assembly of nanoparticles via custom-engineered microfluidic mixing cartridges that allow millisecond mixing of nanoparticle components at the nanolitre scale. Rapid mixing on a small scale allows reproducible control over particle synthesis. The NanoAssemblr Platform solves significant issues associated with incumbent nanoparticle manufacturing such as tuning for size. The platform is ideally suited for nanoparticle research and nucleic acid delivery to primary cells. For more information about their exciting technology, please visit their website at: www.Precision Nanosytems.com. Thank-you Precision NanoSystems! We appreciate your continued support!
