Had a great time at the Rick Cotter Memorial Junior Curling Classic in Vernon this weekend. Was great that Team MacKay (and our cousin Gaetanne and Auntie Cathy) came all the way from Winnipeg to compete. Thank-you to Jim, Richelle, Chelan and Pat Cotter for supporting Junior Curling in BC and for putting on such a great event! Thank-you to all the teams that made the trip out to Vernon for this first class spiel! We appreciate the time and the effort that went into the spiel - the prizes for EVERY curler, the great silent auction, the incredible prize money and thanks for the extra game and the opportunity to play the 5 rock rule! Finished the weekend strong and will be proudly using our 18th Annual Rick Cotter Memorial Junior Curling Classic 2016 Boys Champions Curling Bag (that was a nice surprise!!). Thanks again to Merk and all the ice makers and the volunteer officials! Congrats to Team Brown for winning the Junior Women's event.

We are so excited that the Grand Slam of Curling has invited us to participate in the Tour Challenge Tier 2 division in Cranbrook, BC. What an honor and a privilege to have the opportunity to compete against some of the best teams in the world! We can't wait! Thank-you for the opportunity!!
