Anita Cochrane Memorial Junior Spiel

We finished the first event of the inaugural BC Junior Curling Tour with a playoff final win!  
What a great turnout.  14 junior men's and 10 junior women's teams entered - probably the biggest junior spiel we have ever participated in!
Huge thanks to the Royal City Curling Club, all of the spiel sponsors and to Steve Kopf for organizing such a great event.  We appreciated all of the food and snacks that were donated by the sponsors - you helped keep everyone fueled!  Another big thanks to the ice makers - the ice was great!!  Finally we would like to thank Ted, Mona and Paul Bassett for sharing the story of their incredible daughter Anita Cochrane.  What a legacy she has left for all curlers in BC.  It was a privilege to play in a spiel in her honor.
Congrats to all of the teams for their great curling and sportsmanship.  We look forward to the next spiel in the tour!!
